Monday before last i mailed my doughters and grandsons chirstmas present to them in Fl, the post office said it would get there on friday, I sent it first class but didnt bother to insure it, well it never got delivered, she was upset,Jenny was upset and so was i but i should have insured it but thought it was just a rip off but i did have sence enough to put my returned address on it. Well it was returned today and dumb old me didnt put her street adress on it, just name and city but looks like the po would have seen that when i mailed it, then maybe they did just wanted the mailing fee again but you can bet it has the street and house number on it. ha, a coupla months ago, comeing home, I realized I had to get some air. I also had to take a whizz bad. Well, I knew of a gas station that still gave free air, so, having to get gas also, I decided to stop when I got there. Stop I did. Get the gas I did. Get the air and take a leak, I didnt. I had to drive another mile to get to Wal Mart where I could take a leak. I was nearly p in my pants before I walked the 1/2 mile to get to their bathroom and dreaded meeting anybody I knew. Got finished, got home. got no air. Ive realized, if I see somthing needing done, I gota do it then and there, cause if I doint, my subconcious says, well, ya saw it needing done, so u musta did it, and it dont get done. Actually thats kinda good. Gets me to do things id normally put off for tomorrow. But nowadays, tomorrow never gets here. Another case. Ive been farming with my grandpas CC Case since I was 8. It has a hand clutch that you push forward, or shove forward. Well, sombody put 2 old cultivator handles on each side near the fenders with rods extending forward I think to raise and lower cultivator shields. The right one is around 10in from the clutch handle. NEVER in my49 yrs of using it have I mistaken the cultivator handle for the clutch handle, but I did yesterday, and the cultivator handle dosent move unless you squeeze the handle to move it. I was plowing yesterday and turning, or doing whatever, I quickly had to hit the clutch, and I didnt, but I hit the cultivator handle with the back of my fingers, AND IT HURT LIKE HELL

There are two sure signs of growing old.
1. You have trouble remembering things.
2................Can't think of the other right now.

Now i did feel foolish but relieved it was returned just the game boy itself was around $80.00 but you can bet the correct address is on it and insured. James

I'd like to tell you how foolish it sounds, but then I'd have to admit to the time I sent Mom a birthday card and addressed it to me,,,, Well I got it!
Sure hope you and Jenny are having as big a party as we are here tonight.
Happy new year.

You are doing better than me, I still have gifts sitting here I never mailed, one for a dear friend in Ireland, another for my nephew in Georgia. Mst be a relief the package wasn't lost.

Well I'm no very old, but I do things on the order of put the milk in the cupboard and the cereal in the fridge kind of stuff.

Did you insure it this time? (Smile). I rarely use the insurance, our postal service is fairly trusty I think.

I thought about hiding my own eggs, but I'm afraid I'd forgot that I even made them.

I know for a fact I can hide my own eggs . When the boys were little I hid one in the hem of one of the draps and didn't find it for a year .
That was a long time ago no telling what would happen now if I hid them
