We got 2/10ths of a inch of rain at 5:00 this morning!!! I know it don't sound like much but when you only have got .19 inches for the year this is a lot. They have forcasted some more for the next few days we sure need it! This few drops will make the grass grow a littl bit more! Mark H.

Hi Mark:

Wish I could send you some of ours. I'm close to St. Louis, and it's raining right now (Friday noon) even though it's suppose to be clear today. We've gotten plenty of rain the last two-three weeks for sure. Not cussing it, I've been through droughts and promised myself to never bad mouth rain again.

we had the first rain in 38 days yesterday. a 3 minute steady shower and it all boiled off in less than 30 minutes. supposed to have a 70% chance of rain today and tonight. i gotta see it to believe it. only a durn fool would dare to predict weather in south texas. so far we are about 8" behind on our normal rain for the year and it shows too. we live in hope!

Congrats. We may get some rain tonight. Six inches behind here in Central Tx.

In 6 years we have had one big rain it was 2 inches in about 30 minuits what a down pour!! Then in a couple of hours later it was all gone! Glad I had ditches and had the place graded for run off to! In fact I got laughted at for doing the ditch system because everbody saod they will never be used. I came fron the side of the mountain that it rained all the time for weeks on end I got to hate it but I like the dry country now, just wish we had a little more lately we have had a drought for around 4 years now but that will change after the ICE AGE comes! Mark H.

Hi, Mark, 10-4 on the ice age, sure is cold here, not bitterly cold, just cold enough to keep thinks from growing, has been like that the past few springs, have had a bout two days of "warm" weather, and thats about it!! Usualy hotter than heck, this time of year, brrr...

Good to hear about your barn, guess you will need it to keep the animals in out of all that rain.. ";^) have a gooder, R.E.L.

Now that they are going to start on the building some rain starts?? Must be like washing the car then it rains. That's OK I will never complain about rain, I told them to be sure and bring you rain coat just in case! The little bit we got has settled the dust on the fresh dirt so that is a good point. Sure was nice to see clean green again! Mark H.

I am still waiting for two days without rain so I can cut mine. Haven't got to my back yard all season.

I have seen all that rain in the News I wish we could get about 12 inches or so (not all at once) this year! We only get about 3-4 a year so every little bit helps! Mark H.

I took me 4 hours to do my front yard the other day. I had to get it cut to look semiwhat respectible. I would make a few passes, then have to jack up the lawnmower, and scrap the grass out with a putty knife it was so wet.
