Deadcarp were you the one who taught how to do that marquee thing? If so would you remind me I have been playing around and trying to remember but keep getting it wrong. Thanks.

easy way is to arrow-in (everything in arrows disappears) the word marquee at the front and the word /marquee at the back.

Like this?

[marquee]Like this?[/marquee]

Only use the angle brackets instead of the square brackets I used in the example, < and >

Hey Sid, If you saw how deadcarp dresses his chickens you may want to ask someone else about marqueeing things. I bet his chickens die from embarssment before you could hit them with a hatchet........That is a funny post down below.

UncleTom    Posted 01-02-2005 at 13:42:40       [Reply]  [No Email]
Its not working for me?

Sid    Posted 01-02-2005 at 13:49:55       [Reply]  [No Email]
Try substituting < instesd of [ and > instead of]

George in TX    Posted 01-02-2005 at 14:07:29       [Reply]  [No Email]
You got it Sid, good on ya. On some boards they use what's known as "BBcode" and it uses [ and ] instead of the < and > brackets. They say it's easier to control (limit) the tags that can be used.
