Yesterday I was at my p/t job.(neighbor farmer)
I wonder what people are thinking?! I'm going down the road witha Deere 4450 with duals and a Knight 8018 slinger spreader....a decent sized rig. Hazard/flasher lights going. I see this old p.o.s. Ford Bronco coming up real fast behind me as my turn off to the feild is coming up, so I made DARN sure I had the turn signal on! I slowed way down to turn into the feild (still lots of ice everywhere off of the pavement) This bozo slows way down to almosta stop, so I make my left handed turn... at the same time Mr Stupid decides he's going to pass! DUH... Did he think I was just going to stop for the heck of it in the middle of the highway? arghhhhh!! some people!

I've been behind moron farmers who drive those rigs. It is amazing what they do.

Folks like that don't need to be living out around farms, they just don't get that life, and they think they are the most important person on the road!GRRR

We have our share up here as well...We were towing a school bus with another one teathered with a 25 foot tow rope on a four lane road.
An idiot came up beside the two and decided to cross over between them. You can imagine his surprise when the bus behind slammed on his brakes thus tightening the rope and sling shotting the car back into his proper lane...
Heres your sign Buddy...

You think you see idiots in a hurry, try running
a train sometime. The worst one I saw was an
idiot who couldn't stop on ice with his pickup
loaded with firewood and slammed into a car
20 deep on the train, didn't even know it
happened til the dispatcher called to tell us
what happened and to inspect the train.

Only way you could tell the truck had hit the car
was a taillight in the front truck on the car and
some scratched paint. The pickup, wood and
driver were nothing but an unrecognizable ball
in the ditch.

something similar to that happened to me many years ago. i was stuck on the side of the road in a dump truck and a farmer friend came by. he went home, just up the road and got his JD 4440 to come pull me out. about the time he got back to me and was slowing down to pull off on the shoulder(it was icy and snowy) some bozo came from the opposite direction and hit his brakes hard and done a few loops in the road and got stuck opposite me. never did figger out why he did that, but my friend did pull his out(minus the front bumper). man he was P.O'ed. if folks would just slow down when the weather is bad or when they see something happening on the roadway, a lot of problems could be avoided. everyone's in a big flipping hurry.

The guy decided at the last second that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to pass me after all...I left him sitting in the middle of the road looking like the 'tard he was!

Ha.....think all of us have IDIOTS...out there driving...and farmers here are very careful, it is those behind the wheel of any vehicle who wake up late, run late all the time and then there they are on the highways...sheese, spare me the winter driving scene too, ice, snow, blowing snow, rain...means SLOW DOWN, road hazards, gosh just because the speed limit is 70 mph, don't mean in winter, it is a safe driving speed on nasty roads...IDIOTS..yes, and they don't live long, heck of it is, they take out innocent folks.
