When I used to go across country every year I would meet people from all over this great land. When they would find out I was from CT a look would come over their faces. Like someone just fahted in Church. Invariably they would say "real nice there but the people were awful." Every time.
30-40 cords a year, wow. This time of year kills me as we heat here, our house in NY and my exes in NY.
I'll keep the fan off tomorrow for you and Salmoneye, lots of ice and junk coming.
Enjoy the night.

Don't get me wrong, I know lots of people from CT and have some real fine friends there. But for some reason, back when I was needing tips to help pay bills, I never had much luck with folks from there. And if they were also driving a Cadillac...forget it!
I'm really surprised that people all across country would react like that. If you had said you were from MA, then I could understand.
But then, what would I know. There's thousands of people that think I'm an a hole. At least in the opinion of one person. I'm really insulted by that, BTW. Guess I'll have to find another board with more activity on it so that I can be an a hole to millions instead of thousands.

Thanks, Clipper. Must be nice to have everything all laid out and squared away just from what you read on these boards.

Did you see my reply to Les that said I have used 109 gallons of kero and 2 cord of woodso far?

Don't worry about us...So far this has been a wussy winter (he said knocking wood, carressing his rabbits foot and crossing himself)...

Sheesh, do I have a dirty mind. Your parenthetical comment got completely scrambled in my head, and I had to do a spit-take.... :P

Today about 45 here. Been great. Might get to plow Thursday, hopefully I guess. Need the money.
Then it's time to get to our house, haven't been in a month and the ex needs hay for the horse.
