Surge Milker Questions
[Return to Topics]

I have a small collection of surge bucket milkers and I'm wondering if anyone here can answer a few questions for me. Why did most surge buckets have medium bore inflations? How many different sizes were there, seam and seamless models? Last one, I have six brass inflation shells. Anyone know if these are rare?? I've never seen anything like them and neither has anyone else i've showed them to. They look identical to the regular surge bucket shells, just made out of brass. Thanks for any help!! Brandon

All i can tell you about the medium inflations is that that is all we used for our size of udders. It was the common size. Nothing else worked. The large would fall off when milking. UncleTom
