I am thinking about going to VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) telephone service. I've done a little research but still have a couple of questions. Can I keep my current number(s) or do I have to select new ones? Also, can I have two lines like I have now (one is a dedicated fax line) for a set monthly fee, or would the fee be doubled for the two lines? My average phone bill for the two lines is currently about $115/month. Oh yeah, another question...Can I also make overseas calls for the set monthly fee?

These are all questions for the provider(s) you are considering.

I use VoIP at home. No long distance charges (nationally). I am not certain about international. You can keep your phone numbers. I believe all phone numbers (including cell numbers) are portable - meaning switching between providers means they exchange the number(s).

All the fee questions you have will vary between providers.

I like VoIP and it has saved me $$$.
