i got around a bit - left here on graduation, ran for 30 years and retired back here in 1990. funnest project was 3 years in melbourne australia. best time there was moomba festival, best event was run across a platform on a bridge, dive off & glide 100 meters -in whatever contraption you'd made. a feather behind each ear was enough. coupla guinesses in the tank gave added perceived lift. nobody ever won.:)

I was born and raised in Alabama and have lived in Texas since 1971. Does that count? I still sometimes feel like a furriner.

Lived in Germany ( Verden, Jade ) for about 13 years, spent almost a year in Wilmington (Dellaware),about two years in Liechtenstein ( yes, that's a country!), one year on and off in Hungary, the same in England and Orange County (Ca) ( for big projects I worked on)

I moved 30 miles in the state of Ohio..always wanted to live in Montana for some unknown reason..never been there but figured I would get a job in a greasy spoon sling hash and live in the apartment idea of heaven

I'm in Ohio too and, like you, think Montana would be an interesting place. In fact, around 100 years ago 2 of my grand-dad's brothers picked up and moved there. They liked it so well they never came back- not even to visit.
