This is our forcast. Guess we will get about 12 inches of fun by sat! It is snowing good now and also blowing drifts!! Mark H.

A STRONG WINTER STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO EFFECT THE AREA THROUGH
SATURDAY. THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE TWO DISTINCT PERIODS OF
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION. THE FIRST WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THIS MORNING BRINGING 2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW TO THE VALLEYS AND 2 TO 4
INCHES TO THE MOUNTAINS. A BREAK IN THE HEAVY SNOW WILL OCCUR THIS
AFTERNOON...FLURRIES AND LIGHT SNOW ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE...BUT
WITH LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION. THE SECOND PERIOD OF SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL WILL BEGIN TONIGHT AND LAST THROUGH 3 PM SATURDAY. SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS AND 6 TO 8 INCHES IN THE
MOUNTAINS CAN BE EXPECTED. STORM TOTAL AMOUNTS FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD
WILL BE 4 TO 8 IN THE VALLEYS AND 8 TO 12 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS.

Calling for a bit more here tonight. Then tomorrow freezing rain, sleet and rain. Sounds like another fun day out there for us.
Ground not frozen here yet. Really did some nice things to the gravel drives yesterday!

My driveway is like solid concrete now. The way the snow and wind are working here it will be interesting tomorrow morning! Drift city for sure. I want to get a V-Blade for my M37 and wish I had it now. Mark H.

I think everybody in the west is going to get slammed in the next couple days. We just had a winter storm watch posted that expires in 3 days. I have not seen one that lasts more than 36 hours here before. We need the water, so I am not complaining.
Happy digging,
Paul.

Makes snow plowing worth while. Blade does not chatter on the frozen drive ways gravel. Mark H.

Same here in northern California, Willy. Started snowing early this morning, and supposed to have 10-12 inches by morning. No wind at the moment, but the weather guessers are saying up to 35MPH later on. We're at 2800 ft and they're saying that the valley floor is even going to get 4-6 inches of the white stuff. One year ago last Sunday, we had they same kind of snow, and the folks down there had a real mess...they rarely ever get snow and have NO idea how to drive in it. I have to drive down there this afternoon....wish me luck.

I like when they talk about 9 ft expected in the mountains! They don't tell you that this area is realy in the mountains where 99.9% of the people don't live. I love the news the come on with BIG STORM!! Then there pictures show just a little bit on the ground or a wet mix ready to go away? The Pacific North West does not get much weather hype for some reason. Heck our roads look like that all winter where I live for 5+ months in a row. We are used to it so it is not bad to us. It is the citys that the cars all start wrecking if they get a snow fall they hardley ever see. Mark H.
