Poast herbicide?
[Return to Topics]

Can anyone tell me where I can find poast herbicide for fruit trees and bushes? It kills grass and weeds that aren't broad leaf. I haven't been able to find it at the local farm centers.
Or, maybe some could recommend another herbicide
that accomplishes the same goal.

Thanks

About Poast, you can buy Vantage from BASF, it is the same and you do not need a permit. Its designed to use around the yard and isn t restricted... Its the exact same formula as Poast. Another advantage is it comes in pint containers.

Poast is just a grass killer along "Fusilade" and "Assure" and probably some others I can't think of right now . They are all "restricted use herbicides" and require a "private pesticide users licence or permit" to be purchased that is probably why they aren't handled aat a lot of places . Most can be purchased at fertilizer etc suppliers but you have to have the "permit -licence" to do so .

NOPE! Fusilade is not a restriced use herbicide,
but u r right about having to go to a farm supply house to get it, wally world does not carry it.
