My drive appears to have some deep drifts tonight and it has about 8 more hours to get deeper! The wind has been building some good drifts. Some of the gates look like there is several feet of snow going up them! It should be a good work out tomorrow with the tractor. Mark H.

back home from out west years ago, during a blizzard we decided to visit my cousins. had my uncle's ford selectomatic tractor with fluid/chains so why not? filled a coupla sacks w/straw for fender seats for the gals & off we went. made the trip, then got stuck in my cousin's driveway so came in to dry off. after the visit, the plow had come by and cleared the road and it was duskish when we got the ford turned around. wind was blowin but it's only 8 miles so cookin along pretty good, peering past my mitten when i thought, "what's that?" here the grader had hung a right & was up a side road! that wing had left a nice heap right across front, i yelled hang on and boof, we punched a hole clean thru it! i slammed on everything and it stopped on the road - we had to take the rest of the trip slower. adventure. :)

The snow is real dry so in some places it does not stick at all on the driveway. Now in others the drifts are around 4 ft deep on it. In front of my shop where the tractor is I will have to blade my way out. Next to the bus it is getting deep on both sides. I bet it is about the same further down the drive to. I just took this picture tonight out the window. Mark H.

Took me 2 1/2 hrs to do my drveway this morning and it is still snowing here! Every one around me is snowed in and Jim has to open them up again. I made it to his house in allmost 2 ft of snow drifts but no one else has gone thru yet. That was a fun trip!! Mark H.
