I am looking for an incubator that will handle about a dozen or so eggs or maybe two small ones to use together. Maybe even make my own. Any pointers on how to make a small one to use for this?

Check out this site, it gives plans for incubators from styrofoam ice chest, plywood to old refrigerators.
www.feathersite.com/Poultry/BRKIncubation.html
Also gives info on temps, humidity, number of days to hatch by breed, etc.

Redbeard:

Try the site below. I found it when I was trying to troubleshoot our first hatch of chicks. There's lots of info, including plans for incubators and brooders.
