..in heck I'll ever do that!!
I just heard President Bush 42 on Tv asking me to donate to the tsunami fund. I have considered donating but I am checking my options first before I do.

There is no way in heck that I will donate to the Bush Clinton fund!! There will NEVER be a check written on my acount with the name Clinton in the To: space!!

Sorry, I just cant do it!!

Cousin Billy    Posted 01-09-2005 at 16:24:13       [Reply]  [No Email]

Real good excuse to not help those in need.Sorry but i could care less for Bush but have put those feelings aside to help out those in need.As far as Clinton goes i voted from him both times for president.Though i disagree with somethings he did while in office i still i am proud to say that i still support him in any venture he choses to pursue.

Hey Lenore,
Since relief funds going out of this country to any country comes from hard working, tax paying folks...*me included...working and paying taxes, heck, we have made our contributions, and since I don't file a long tax form, get no credits on any donations........so am with you gal. I have given until it HURTS, plus I support our charities here at home also, did anyone see any offers of support from foreign countries when 4 major hurricanes hit Fla?????? Nope! So I tend to think my tax dollars are working, as per how our government sees fit, I will think: Charity starts at home...meaning...USA first. True American here.

steve19438    Posted 01-09-2005 at 05:46:00       [Reply]  [Send Email]
that is just a poor excuse to ease your guilt for not sending any aid of any kind.

BOSS    Posted 01-08-2005 at 23:12:05       [Reply]  [No Email]
Theres no way I am giving to any of the tsunami funds, none of them. Heck, most of those countries are the major part of OPEC, they have more money than they know what to do with. They are recieving more money than for any other natural disaster EVER! There are more people killed or murdered in those countries by civil wars and civil unrest than that tsunami.
This is all hyped by the media, because the Iraqi war is old news now. I'm not falling for it, I'll give to my community instead.

steve19438    Posted 01-09-2005 at 07:30:37       [Reply]  [Send Email]
it's not about koffi! another lame excuse.

Redneck    Posted 01-09-2005 at 06:25:01       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yep, the same ones that always do..... the ones that sane off the money before the ones that it is meant for gets it. Funny, they look just like any other crook and believe it or not they come in different colors. Haven't caught on yet? Take your time and read slowly.

steve19438    Posted 01-09-2005 at 06:52:16       [Reply]  [Send Email]
are you gullable enough to believe that every cent of every dollar that is sent to help anyone anywhere actually gets to where it is supposed to?
suppose i sent 50 bucks to help them folks in tusanmi land. even if 49 of them dollars is hijacked and that one dollar gets a kid a dipthierra (sp) innoculation isn't that enough?

Redneck    Posted 01-09-2005 at 08:25:42       [Reply]  [No Email]
Shoot man, what are you waiting on. Send away! The war lords will love you for it.

steve19438    Posted 01-09-2005 at 09:22:22       [Reply]  [Send Email]

Is it true that you have "Feed The Children" saved on your favorite channel list? Oh well, your money.

John 1: 1-2    Posted 01-08-2005 at 20:03:16       [Reply]  [Send Email]
There are many other options available. Might I suggest the Salvation Army. In the for write in; South East Asia Tsunami Fund.

Mt 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.

charity for me always began at home, then kin, neighbors and on to the rest of the world. and i'll reciprocate - if they looked out for me last time i was strick, i owe them. it's truly sad to see a million kids die every year - sadder yet, if their daddys had a lick of restraint or better aim, that would not be happening cuz they'd not been born. with no planning, expect random results. :)my hunger cure:

Hawk    Posted 01-08-2005 at 19:50:32       [Reply]  [No Email]
i would not let a politician interfer with helping out the needing. just look past them.

dig    Posted 01-08-2005 at 19:43:42       [Reply]  [No Email]
Odd. I feel the same way about Bush.

Zenia    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:00:50       [Reply]  [No Email]
You are not alone.

But in this case I would contribute, if 100% went to the victims but I would have to research it.

Burrhead    Posted 01-08-2005 at 20:00:10       [Reply]  [No Email]
well then according to Drug Limbaugh and Pat Robertson yer a pagan, baby killing, unpatriotic, leach to the Huhmurikin way and a drain to our society. Congradulations and thanks for your opinion I thought I was a loner.

I was just thinking that the folks around here that seem most offended about politics and religion are the ones who won't let it rest.

HOGMAN JUST PASSIN THRU    Posted 01-09-2005 at 07:28:23       [Reply]  [No Email]
Mornin Cousin Burr, hope alls well with You. Good thoughts and only one minor comment, I have a few $ to give away this mornin, part goes to My Church and a little more goes to tend a Cemetery where Our Preachers Mother is being Buryed today.
I PRAY for those in distant Lands.

Patria    Posted 01-09-2005 at 09:29:43       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hey Hogman, it's always a pleasure to read a post from you..take care.

Burrhead    Posted 01-09-2005 at 10:24:16       [Reply]  [No Email]
It sure is always a pleasure to hear from Uncle Hawg.

I pray with you everday too Unc. I been worried about all the orphans there is gonna be because of this tsunami deal.

I hope America and ever other christian nation world wide will rally to lessen the suffering of these victims.

RN    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:04:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
Burrhead: Back on the board for some fun I see. Relief charity- use caution, already warnings about fraud solicitations, if Ole Bill is making a money pitch do we watch his eyebrows for twitching at the same time he's talking? That was supposedly an indication he was not being thruthful. I would have to check local Wiccans for the Pagan viewpoint on religious obligation for flood relief donations. Maybe check if Motorcycle Pagans have an opinion if they're online? As for 'won't let it rest' - are you letting your ratwing 'Burr' ego lapse? Might make my boss's husband happy. Donation box here at work I think may be coordinated with Salvation Army, Church has mission/medical people close to the damaged area- designated collection envelopes next to drop box. Prefer to let politicians collect from Soros, Kennedy and Moore- see how much they contribute. I'll be checking back to see if internet is up couple more times tonight, catch you later. I advised Cynthia from texas to see if she could ask you about cows on 5 acres pasture- posted her that maybe one cow was the best she could expect unless irrigated. RN

Burrhead    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:16:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
Nawsir I have'nt relapsed RN. It's just that as we move to being a kinder-gentler nation we must all strive to merge into a complacent robotic culture and not stir any waves.

This christian agape oil war got me to thinking. If we can bomb orphanages in Bagdad why can't we bomb abortion clinics in Atlanta?? Theres no telling how many tax dollars we could save if we do away with orphans before they're orphans.

RN    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:49:53       [Reply]  [No Email]
Burr: The wave stirring will continue, we(and Fox news) will see to that. Orphans/Aclinics? If the clinics are bombed= less abortions=more potential orphans instead of otherway around as your post infers?? Maybe a bit of adoption laws updating is needed to find some orphans homes- in Hillary's village? Shall we compare Liberal Dems personal situations with children and mistresses being paid off with federal Funds (taxpayers money) and Republicans situations recently/past year publicised- republicans used their own money to support the offspring of youthful indiscretion? RN

Burrhead    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:56:39       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yeah the one feller was all that I saw that fessed up to reproducing.

I did'nt find the post about cows/acre yet.

Yer missing the point. We all know a good moral ratwing gal would'nt be caught dead at an abortion clinic. We could knock out at least 2 generations of pagans with one bomb. All them folks do is have illeg babies and bleed off welfare anyway.

RN    Posted 01-08-2005 at 22:50:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
Burrhead: Cow/acre comments in thread page 2'I did good' 01/07/05 @13:46:50 about raiseing freezer beef. The ratwing ladies at Aclinics would be demonstrating, trying rescue the unborn, bringing their own bombs, waving to camera, riling liberals- various reasons to be in the area. Some might have fallen for Liberals 'bipartisan' talk to start- getting checkup to see how far they fell- sometimes old Lucifer wins one. Same idea on Liberal Dems running for office-Devil wins sometime, they hope it's when they try to get elected. This thread should aggravate the humor deprived Liberals- just give you a chuckle. RN

toolman    Posted 01-08-2005 at 20:53:18       [Reply]  [No Email]
hey burr how ya been , i had a nap and come around and your gone hope to catch up with you before you leave again , if not take care.

Burrhead    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:07:49       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hello Toolman. I may hafta get you to help me on weekends sometimes. This business about turning ratwing and being a boytoy for Liddy is wearing me down. That woman is still ugly and lippy after a quart of 100 proof tater juice.

I was gonna order some blue pills for Bob from Canada and get him back online but we had to outlaw the discounted drugs. Too many folks feeling too good on them dangerous Canadian drugs.

Kindy odd we close the northern border on prescription drugs and open the southern border for smokes.

No wonder them Russians drink so much vodker.

deadcarp    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:50:59       [Reply]  [No Email]
well i dunno - there been any cases of mad drug disease lately? lol

Burrhead    Posted 01-08-2005 at 21:59:11       [Reply]  [No Email]
LMAO--yep we can't get a hamburger or viagra from up there right now.

Maybe we can get Congo Leeza to start a viagra for hamburger humanitarian swap when she gets confirmed.

steve19438    Posted 01-09-2005 at 05:50:48       [Reply]  [Send Email]
"when she gets confirmed"
is she joining church or something????

SusieQ    Posted 01-09-2005 at 06:04:36       [Reply]  [No Email]
Well.........Steve, you might say that. hahahahah.

Burrhead    Posted 01-09-2005 at 10:18:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
LMAO yep she's going the church alright. She gets to take John Asscracks place as the largest money recipient of Glaxo and Ceiba Geigy pharm.

If you look at the money trail from the pharm companies you can see why all the stink about Canadian medicine. That's not a pagan lib or ratwing comment it's a follow the money and lobbying comment.

toolman    Posted 01-09-2005 at 10:33:04       [Reply]  [No Email]
shhh burr we want to keep our drugs, let bush get you folks your own , good safe drugs.

Burrhead    Posted 01-09-2005 at 11:18:46       [Reply]  [No Email]
I think the drugs are the same but OSHA makes us wear hardhats and rubber gloves to take them here in the states. You fellers just don't know how to be safe when takin medicine.

toolman    Posted 01-09-2005 at 12:44:39       [Reply]  [No Email]
naw we live pretty dangerously up here , why alot of our drugs are even from drug companys in the states, they safe for us but not for you folks , could it be our winters and dirt roads that makes us hardier lol.

Burrhead    Posted 01-09-2005 at 13:25:33       [Reply]  [No Email]
yep yall are just a lot tuffer than americans. I saw some ice truckers crossing them frozen lakes. Heck these sissies stay in the house if it gets cool, let alone cold.

toolman    Posted 01-09-2005 at 13:29:48       [Reply]  [No Email]

Burrhead    Posted 01-09-2005 at 14:08:52       [Reply]  [No Email]
