I had to go out and take a few pictures this morning befor I plow the snow. Thought I would share a few of the drifts for the ones who live in warmer areas. The winds were around 35 mph again last night so I have a mess to clean up!! Mark H.

I really don't know how they know where the road is. Maybe GPS or maybe they don't care...just make a new one.

i lived in northern nova scotia, and when we were kids we,d get driftds so big that you would have to go upstairs and look out the top window just to see across the road to the neighbours, they would clear the road with a front end loader, tunnel in and then collasp the sides. it was a hard packed wet snow comming off the north alantic, you could esaily walk along the tops and touch the power lines , i remember mom and ada waring us about this, ahh those were the winters im glad im in the west, now(not really) lol.

man you are sure gettin it this year, it is snowing hard here today, almost a should really look at making or buying a loader for your tractor with drifts like that.the good thing about a loader is you can put the snow where you want it, must be hard moving that snow too isn,t it packed hard when it drifts, i remember back in nova scotia we would get drifts nearly mountain high and almost hard enough to drive on, i feel for ya buddy, try an have a nice day, probably get cold tonight too as i see its clear, ouch, take care.

funny how the snow always drifts where you don't want it and leaves the middle of the field swept clean

Ya it allways collects in front of the doors and where you need to drive! That is the problem with plowing and wind. You can make it worst when you put it on the wrong side or make a slot in the drive way. Mark H.

Willy What part of Siberia do you live in?? I havent seen that much snow in a lot of years

If you think it bad at my house the road coming in from town is worst and all the neibors are stuck now. Nobody is going anywhere till the county plow or blower goes thru. Yesterday 99% of them were plowed out but this morning all the deep trenches made from plowing them out are even deeper now! If we open it up again with these winds it will fill right back in deeper in a few hours. Good old Sunny Okanogan Washington! Mark H.

Always did like the look of drifts. One little flake at a time.
All we got yesterday was freezing rain and then rain.

I hate to plow them but they will just keep getting bigger! Wish I had my Front End Loader because I need to move some of my piles today due to the wind and it takes a while with the rear blade. Mark H.
