Hi all,
Read with interest the post and responses about face to face and I was wondering if we can all post pictures of ourselves so we see who is who when we read the messages.
What do ya all think?

Now aren't ya going to introduce us to that pretty thing sittin next to ya... I'm thinking she must be your daughter?

Les...Nah    Posted 05-20-2002 at 14:10:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
My daughter still has blonde hair. That would be the former Sharon Perkins, my bride of 33 years, 4 months and 16 days.

kraig WY Well No one else got us kicked off    Posted 05-20-2002 at 06:51:32       [Reply]  [No Email]
Me, misses and youngest (of twin boys). You can see why every thinks she's my daughter even though I only have her by 9 years.

Les...Hey Kraig    Posted 05-20-2002 at 12:26:37       [Reply]  [No Email]
When my wife and I were going together, everybody thought she was my little sister. Now they think I'm her younger brother!!! She is 4 months younger than I be but she's been gray for 10 years or more. My mother at 82 has less gray hair than my wife does.

kraig WY    Posted 05-20-2002 at 14:28:44       [Reply]  [No Email]
Well i blame her for my gray hair, I didn't have any until I took over as company commander of a HHC company. Guess you know the headache that can be. (She was in the company commo unit).

Nice picture! Your wife looks like your Daughter! Lucky man nice family you have there. The truck just pulled up with the wood for the barn! I sure like it when a plan comes together. The rain is starting to let up a little now just perfect for building they have to keep moving to keep warm! Mark H.

kraig WY Thanks and    Posted 05-20-2002 at 07:52:03       [Reply]  [No Email]

Just came in for some coffie! They have all but 4 posts in the ground. The rain stopped but real cool and a little windy. I got a few pictures to post later. Waiting for all of them to be up first to post. Mark H.

I loved seeing all the pictures. It's a great idea and so much better when you can put a face to things.

Mark Hendershot    Posted 05-19-2002 at 19:50:33       [Reply]  [No Email]

Well here is one of me and the dogs Kodi & Herc! Had to put something in the picture that looked good. Now remember I am 50 so excuse the wrinkles but I still have my hair! Mark H.

Hi, Dennis, my picture would break every monitor in the country...sure would like to "see" who I'm talking to, though, have seen pics of some of the posters, but not many. I think Kim has a section where you can post a bit about yourself, not sure wheather there is space for a pic or not. Maybe a photo galery of sorts would be in order....as has been suggested, a time and a place where everyone could meet, in person, would be sooo excelent, though the problems with that would make it near imposible!

I feel I have made some great friends on Kims site, some I have corresponded with for well over a year now, some occasionally, all are realy super people, would welcome them into my home anytime!!, have a coffe, or two, converse, laugh lots, pet the two Jack Russel terrors, [who will lick you to death], and if supper rolls around, we will see what we have in the deep freeze that we can throw on the 'barbie'! Have a gooder, R.E.L.

kraig WY I'm afraid if I put my picture on this board    Posted 05-19-2002 at 12:33:17       [Reply]  [No Email]
It'll cause it to go the way of the Country People Board.

But if Kim would give me imunity I'm game.

DeadCarp -- me too    Posted 05-19-2002 at 18:05:30       [Reply]  [No Email]
Not too worried about busting anything, but i haven't measured the screen & i'm not sure i'd fit. Course, the blamed thing is wider than it is tall, so things are heading in my direction! lol

When you're cranking the separator by yourself and there's a fruit jar handy, the count IS 3 milk to every 7 cream, right? Yep, close enough! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! (smiling thru my milk-moustache:)

DeadCarp - guess this won't hurt    Posted 05-19-2002 at 20:45:40       [Reply]  [No Email]
since it's just us chickens :)

Hogman    Posted 05-20-2002 at 02:59:10       [Reply]  [No Email]
Bein totaly, absolutely, without reservation and probably beyond help computer illiterate,I plead tha knowledge of "how tha dickins do ya make that goofy lookin little busted back of a playin card thingy'dooey" turn in to a picture of a dead carp????????????
I've clicked it,kicked it,spit on it,threatened it with a hammer, all ta no avail! I admit defeat.I shall now go crawl down inta tha toilet bowl and flush Myself away. Farwell cruel world!!!

DeadCarp -nickname    Posted 05-20-2002 at 04:14:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
That's as big as the picture is, Hogman. And it won't turn into anything for me either. But you're welcome to keep trying. heh heh

I'll tell you where that nickname came from: a couple years ago in a chat room, a gal (Blue Eyes from Hawaii) asked what animal we all identified with.

I'm kinda shot up and beat up and creaky and couldn't outrun a drought or flood so i mostly relate to a dead carp, floating around a stagnant pond. with one eye open. I like it away from the bustle, beyond predator interest, don't eat much, nobody expects much of me, just floatin around somebody else's pond. lookin. sorta like a lurker who types some. But that's a lotta words. :)

Thank Ya DC,GLAD I CHECKED    Posted 05-20-2002 at 18:26:36       [Reply]  [No Email]

big fred    Posted 05-19-2002 at 17:08:09       [Reply]  [No Email]

Hey Burr, you got good taste in clothes! This is me with my one-legged grandson. Grandma got her leg injured and had this splint thingy, grandson wanted to wear it, so we put both legs in it.

Burrhead    Posted 05-19-2002 at 17:22:03       [Reply]  [No Email]
You got good clothing taste too, but you got too much hair and too much color in the whiskers.

LMAO about the grandson's splint. It's funny what you can dig out if the kiddoes want it to play with.
