Mean Faermer's Report Update:

I'll add to yesterday’s report that after that tear jerking episode was over the other day, all was back to normal within an hour... err... two (as per our negotiated marriage contract discussion of August 3rd, 1958)( and, I had returned to doing my winter chores) returning home awhile later: and, she's been a lot busier around here since. So my rant had paid off in the loving spirit it had been delivered… intended. She was her old spirited self, perhaps after some reflection

Going to add as well, Frieda's been up to delivering her brand of subtle hints as to how I may change things around here also. And, they have been well noted. Well, said changes underway,.. just as soon as I’ve thought about them for awhile. I don’t ever want to be accused of rushing into anything????????

I’d be damed if I hadn't done it right getting her for a life time companion. Maybe with that prod we'll both be around as long as each of us needs to serve the other. ONLY four more years until she tells me whether this relationship will last.. (grin)

Ladies: I been most of the day working on one of Herr Clink’s subtle hints. She’s going to like the shower finished as much as I will. This bathing in/under the lawn-sprinkler at 20* above zero is a little bit to invigorating for her soul anymore.

Got the firewood in by dark yesterday. Not so high it’ll fall on my head; but Frieda might better be wearing her hard hat. (Scratching my head), wondering if I ever got her a hard hat??? Oh well! If I hear her yell, it’ll either be her head or toe what got in the way.

If I may back track, unable to sleep and pondering the ponders of ponderings, before daybreak, I devised a new Winter schedule. It went something like this, playtime with big boys tractors toys and mad boy’s inventions till lunch. More playtime after lunch until dinner followed by additional playtime before bedtime. I figure I can fit picking up tools and hauling out trash a week from the next coming Tuesday. About then, a hungry cow moooooed outside the window here and threw off my entire schedule until next I can get another Santa Clause want list out next Fall for an early Winter‘s delivery.

There’s some things that just don’t seem to go right!

Sounds like you two got this marriage negotiation thing down pat. Maybe we will do so well also.
Chas, counting his marriage blessings, up here in Maine.
