She went to Florida today. Got out just in time before this storm. Staying with her ex. Just had dinner with his family, just like old times. They're going down to the Keys in a day or so I guess.
I get to stay and drive around in this storm plowing!

I still prefer this weather to what we had last winter. That was brutal.

True, way too cold last year. It seems every time we get snow though this year it comes with freezing rain and sleet. Bummer to plow in.
55 here on Thursday, then cold again. But, we're halfway through winter and no frost in the ground yet.

Do u remember that ice storm we had up these parts Les?? Amazing ..EVERYONE was froze in and my town had no real probs at all!! Crazy..

It started January 8, 1998. I had no problems either but you didn't have to travel far from your place to find BIG problems, like just up Dana Hill Rd. or over on Bridgewater Mountain. If you go up there you can still see plenty of evidence of what happened. Just a few miles from where you live.
