On a trail ride with one once. This one had 8 wheels IIRC. It did great in the water and mud but it wasn't too good when dealing with ruts and rougher terrain. It got high centered quite a bit an the ride looked very jarring despite going quite slow. No suspension under it as far as I could tell. I did see the guy using it on the snow with a set of tracks once and it was pretty darned impressive in the capacity.

DC is on it...

Another brand that can be outfitted with oversize balloon tires, tank tracks, snow blades, groomers etc is 'Max'...Max ATV is the official name...

My dream toy for duck hunting in the ugly stuff...

I had a six wheeler a long time ago. it was fun and did float. used to carry me and my two kids. only problem i ever had with it during the five years i had it was a few flats and one axle hub. easy to work on. i think mine only had a 14hp? and was a little under powered but would still go just about anywhere you wanted to go. kinda wished i had kept it, but kids grew up and t wasnt getting any use. Rokon 2 wheel drive motorcycle. Saw a couple, looked real well built. Float on water they do.
Bet they're fun as all get out.

I looked at the Max and was concerned about the size vs. power of it. I ended up getting a 4 wheeler for it's high clearance and power. I don't use it for fun but it's fun anyway. Mainly got it for plowing snow down my hill and have used it for pulling logs, pulling trailers, and just this morning...did not go to work due to the river turning my road into a river. Took the kids through the woods to the neighbors to catch the bus. Great vehicle.
