We got about 4-5" here in CT. Freezing rain, sleet and then was pouring out for several hours. Real heavy to plow. Went out at 11 last night and got home about 9 or so this morning.

I was going to complain about our freezing rain but you got me beat so
I'll just shut up .
All the schools are close today because of bad roads
When I went out to do chores I took and side trip to the road and you could slide your feet and any direction with ease .
I guess they are justified in closing the schools today
We have hardly any snow for this time of year though , On the way to the barn I seen these dark trails in the snow under the ice and decided it mouse trails
Warm today and tomorrow then Fri drop like a rock right down to 0

Time to fire up the shop heater real hot to break loose that ice befor you have real problems with the roof. Had to do that in the small barn once when I froze to the screws on the metal roof and it would not break loose! Mark H.
