Some flatlander traveling in SW WI on I-90 was stopped doing 100MPH at 5:59 New Years day morning. At 6:56 he was nailed again in the next county doing 84. Then again at 7:28 in the next county doing a mere 77. Then at 9:05 the same car was stopped again in the next county over. This time his girlfriend was driving doing 108 MPH. Total fines $1393. That's like $460 an hour little rich for my blood. Us cheeseheads complain about flatland tolls, but they're not that high. LOL

Maybe they were from Montana and forgot they were not in their home state. Not much grass grows under their wheels.

Saw that on the news last night. The excuse was he didn't want to be late for work.

Being a born and raised cheesehead, now transplanted to Mo., I have little storey about when I was a Dep. Shf. in St.Croix Co.. I-94 passes east-west thru the co. and one night a state trooper brought in to the county jail, 2 young men from Il. and going to college in Chicago. They had a rental van and two hundred pounds of MaryJane in it. The trooper stopped them for 85 in a 55 zone. He was also a bit interested in why they had a yellow rotating light duct taped to the roof off the van(in law enforcement we call this a "clue"). I am sure they had been sampling their cargo and figured Dumb Cheesehead Cops wouldn't catch them. I helped the trooper search the van and found a bunch of heroin in the aircleaner and the trooper found more under the dash. This, in addition to the weed got them a large toll in time in the state pen at waupon. Maybe they finished their degrees there.

Now that I know a yellow flashing light duct taped to the roof is a "clue", can you give me some other pointers to avoid Barney Fife?

Just kidding.
