I always get in a day late on most of these posts. I have one of those signs that was pictured posted at the end of my driveway. I got it the last time I re-subscribed to the Indiana Prairie Farmer. Of course, they're made of plastic now. Says "Prairie Farmer Protective Union. Will pay $250.00 for arrest and conviction....." Probably would be hard to collect on now as I heard the whole Farm Progress Group has been bought by Disney. Farm Progess Group publishes at least a dozen different state-themed farm magazines. I've got some dating back to 1915. I enjoy reading those more than the new ones.

Cold and damp here in central IN this morning. Temp raised 15 degrees over night and barometer is dropping like a rock. Better hang on to my hat. Have a good one. Jim.

Morning Jim...surely do miss some of those old of my favourites was "The Star Weekly", had a little bit of everything for everybody, stories, 'bout five pages of 'funnies', a bunch of world news,.......don't remember if this was a subscription or not....used to buy it at a store somewhere.... another one was the "Country Guide"...quite a large size magazine type paper, subscription... Minneapolis Moline, [sp] always had the back cover for their adds...even the adds were interesting in those days....I think it is still published, but has gotten down to page size, and a lot thinner. have a good one, R.E.L.
