Temps down, morning chores dragged on yesterday. Nothing done in the house, having to hand load shelled corn. A first in about five years, and then only a 2/3rd’s load. It’ll get me by for a couple weeks plus. Seems I had near spent the whole day doing chores in one manner or another.

Warmer here, temps up, chores easier what with machines also starting easier. One or two more degrees climbing I might be tempted to get out my sun screen.

Brother took his truck in for repairs. I’m thinking he doesn’t want it around here where he may have to explain it’s odd new looks. (he he)

Found the right saw shop and luckily purchased a used clutch assembly for my MacCulloch chain saw. If it weren’t such a runner I’d have given it up for junk. But figure a couple more yrs use worth the pricey parts.

After haying the ladies, while checking fence; something I hadn’t done for some weeks: Frieda calls my cell “Seems I have locked myself out of the house without my keys. And, will you let me in?” NOW, there was a disclosure to think about. But only for a moment had it not been so close to lunch time… (grin).

Having made the right decision, having enjoyed another belly/filling warm meal, I got in some bathroom finishing time. Trim for window cut almost fitting right will complete tomorrow I hopes with a few shims to keep corners tight. Installed universal mounted hand held shower head. Mounting the face plate on the valve handle assembly pulled or busted something in the wall. Just freaking marvelous. Now I get‘s to poke a hole in the wall behind this conundrum on the morrow to pull back the tub filling end of the pipes so’s the spout will fit to the wall again. Shucks. Has to be something here I can blame upon my helper… If I had ever had one. I couldn’t have done nothing wrong I can remember! THAT’s it, I have just suffered a total remembering memory lapse. Just might get away with it? And, if it works, maybe I can use it again. Hmm!?!?

Sounds sort of like the way things go around here most days. Keeps us all busy and home. Thanks for the report!
