I made your recipe for deer roast last was DELICIOUS! The deer meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork. I poured the gravy over butter noodles for a stroganoff...the finicky kids even had seconds! Yah...thatís after they found out it was baked with soda/pop in the sauce...LOL

Thanks again GrannyG for sharing your tasty recipe. We call it "The GrannyG Mountain Dew Deer."

Could I get your recipe for deer roast. I don't know anything about cooking deer but my husband loves it. He goes hunting every year but if he kills a deer I make him give it away because I don't know how to fix it. Thanks!

Once I have compiled all the great venison recipes I have received from the good folks here, I will email them to you. Enjoy! :^)

That is one of my favorites too, and so easy. I have a great Apple Dumplings recipe if you are interested. Made sour dough bread and cinnamon rolls last night and we love those, too.

You bet we'd love to have the dumpling recipe.

We use round steak cuts instead of the roast. That was very very good. I really enjoyed it a lot. I have left overs for lunch today.

Thanks again.
