That's sad. We will miss his humor...ya know he died of emphazema (spelling?) I'll be d*mned if I didn't go have a cig after I read your post. I need a good joke after hearing the sad news.

I remember the night Jack Paar walked off the tonight show. He cussed, got up and walked off. The camera went back to where he was setting for a bit, and then the screen went blank for a minute. I dont remember what happened when it came back on. Is Paar still alive? Anyway, the next weekend, Johnny had the spot, and kept it for 20 yrs thereabouts

think i recall that think a test pattern with an indian chief appeared on our screen.

anywho Johnny Carson will never be replaced after red skelton he was the best.

Also its so very sad what he died from a very painful demise. :(
