Heard this morning that Monsanto is buying a huge vegetable-fruit company that supplies a lot of the "little seed companies" with their seeds.

I don't think I'm a regular conspiracy-theorist, but Monsanto bothers me because of their aggressive ways, trying to put little farmers out of business and control the big ones.

Me too, Tom. Mosanto is gobbling up small seed companies. Their soybean seed is now around $30 per 50 lb. bag. I was giving around $10 per 60 lb.bag in the early 90's. Of course, Mosanto added the Round-up gene to the beans, and it did come in handy.
