Looking good Dan I called the wife over to look
and she said wow don't even look like the same trunk . Ya did good as usual .
We worked the better part of the last two days on two more chairs and a dry sink . The dry sink is missing the towel rack . She wants the two up rights to be curved and some friends have one with curved up rights so I'm going over with a piece of cardboard and trace them and then I have to make some to match .
When we get things done I'll post some pictures on the fotki site and show the progress from begining to end .
enjoyed your trunk pictures .

Thanks Al, it was a lot of work, not sure I'm ready for another trunk just yet but it did keep me out of mischief for a few months. About those uprights I would try keep them in the same type of wood as the rest of the sink,it will keep the staining simpler. I was looking at a painted spinning wheel that needs to be brought back to its wood finish but man that would be a big job, plus I'm not sure I have the room for a sw.Dan
