Driver's side window of my work truck this morning, that is.
This is Mt. Washington. Too bad clouds were obscuring the summit. That gash on the side of the mtn. is the famous Cog Railway. The historic Mt. Washington Hotel is in the foreground.

Skeeter, I believe I'll need
a crash-course..of course, after I know what skeeter is.

Let me check it out.

Skeeter...    Posted 01-28-2005 at 05:53:16       [Reply]  [No Email]
"Mosquitos Carnivora",a large parasitic insect living in Northern Tier states of US,ranging from almost invisible to condor sized.Skeeter subsist by exanguinating unwary mammals of their blood supply in mass attacks. The high pitched drone of their flight has been known to drive humans to near insanity in a dark bedroom at night, anticipating and dreading impalement on the females needle sharp beak,Unconfirmed reports credit these viscious beasts with carrying off children and pets for their sadistic dining rituals and even at times have blamed them for missing cattle and horses. Many residents of infested areas have tried to protect themselves with barriers of chain link fence or metal sheathing on their homes, however the wily Skeeter usually finds a way to circumvent these measures and continue to wreak havoc.

Now seriously..    Posted 01-28-2005 at 09:20:45       [Reply]  [No Email]
Thanks for the info.
