If I can't sleep, why should you all be able to?!

Just kidding, enjoy your rest. 3:47 here and I been up for about 1/2 hour. Danged chicken manure! I spent the last 2 days breathing that ammonia and dust, now I'm paying for it. Nose is running faster than I can! I guess thats a good thing, at least it's draining. (I know, not a pretty picture, lol!)

For those of you wondering why I been breathing that much in for the last 2 days... The coop is 42'x432', 2 stories...thats alot of $ hit! Her is a picture of a little better than 1/2 of the building. Due to the hills, I can't get far enough away to get a shot of the whole thing from the side.

As long as I'm at it, here's a shot of my "new" Deutz D 80 06....aka, The Better Green, lol!

dang, I'm a slow typer, it's now 4:05!

I have a pot brewing right now. Would have made one earlier, but I wasn't sure if I was going back to bed or not...turns out not. On the bright side, I can breath better already. Now I just have to get rid of this sinus headache.

Ugh! it's going to be a long day.

I like the one over behind. It has a cab.

Chad K    Posted 01-28-2005 at 05:11:10       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm all for the cab tractor too. except for one thing...thats my 706 GAS you see behind the Deutz. :-(

If you think a 706G is bad...That Deutz is replacing my 806...Gas...Which reminds me. Anyone interested in a nice 806G? It's got a cab with heat!

I think the 806 was designed by Arabs...hard pull will use 7-8 gallons/hr.

You didn't wake me up. I was already awake. And I don't even have to breathe what you're breathing.
You have reminded me of one time when I was reading meters. I was teaching the route to my replacement as I had taken a different job in the company. We had some big hen houses on our route. The young lady with me said "I wonder it's like in there." I said "Come on in, I'll show you."
When we walked through the door, the ammonia smell just about gagged her. I LMAO and she said
"You knew it was going to be like that didn't you! Why did you take me in there?!!".
I had to admit that I didn't think it would be that bad. We still laugh about it and that was over 15 years ago.
