Since mud asked, I reckon y'all might be wondering what is going on with the 31 acres, so I thought I would post an update. Ian put in the pre-approval loan application, and now we are waiting on approval. I didn't know his credit union was going to send it through snail mail. The loan people are IN Stockbridge. I take Shelby to school over in Stockbridge every day! I couldhave dropped it off myself and things would have went much quicker. My fault I suppose, saying something to Ian too late. Oh well, now we will have to wait for it to get there, and then for them to look at it. So...now we just wait.
I took Mama out to the property Friday. It was a bit windy and cold so we didn't walk down to the little frog pond down the trail out back.
When we pulled up to the drive, I got out and found the hidden key to the gate and opened the gate to the drive, drove in and closed the gate back. We hadn't even got up the drive yet, and she loved how the trees and brush made a kind of tunnel over the driveway. She says I should leave that, lol, I said I will, but if anything scrapes the truck, its getting cut back.
Then, I took her up to the house and the barn. SHe loved the barn, said it had a lot of character. I meant to bring a camera out and take pics of the place, but I forgot. Hopefully I will be able to take as many as I want soon! Took her into the house, she liked it a lot. Its not our dream home, but we will build in a few years. Good enough for us to live in and be comfortable.
She absolutely loved it, and is on the sae page as me now, she says she is already there. :) SO, I guess soon as we get settled they will be following behind soon, boy, that will be nice to have my parents right there with us. :)

Been following your posts, but haven't posted myself.
Really hope you get this...please post pics when you can.
Not much else new here. It has been a real bear of a winter. Have about two feet of snow on the ground with ice underneath. Been battling that for the last month.
Had about 25 loads of wood cut to keep heating costs down. Have about 13 loads left, and have spent about $800 for propane so far...
Lucy and I are just dreaming about spring.
Keep us advised.
