yes, my yard is like a sponge right now...squish, squish. I think the sun is trying to peep out though or maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part. :-).

Texas, did you notice one of your classmates and former Liberty Panther lineman in the obituary? Ken Jones was found dead in his eighteen wheeler, seems he started feeling bad and pulled over to rest. Do you remember Ken?

Yes maam I saw that...didnt see it until this week so I missed funeral.

Did you know him?

Not personally, but his late son Casey played football for the Daisetta Bobcats and I knew Casey. So I got to know Ken that way. Talked to him at some of the games he was able to attend. We die hard Bobcat fans being such a small school; who went to out of town games got to know each other.

You might not have known that Casey was Ken's boy. Casey is the boy who was murdered a little over a year ago. Thinking of Casey still makes me cry and makes me angry. It is all very sad, life is not fair at times.

Talked to my brother last night, he's in San Antonio, said it was in its 40's.

Still too cold for me.

Where in Texas do you live? I live outside of Houston. The weather here is the same mid 40s and rain all day.

Thanks for answering, I should not have asked, I realize that some people don't give out to much information on purpose. I tend to forget that because I am not like that at all. Thanks again I was just curious.

Figures it'll make things snotty for my Friday night dance. The weather on the first Friday has been less than ideal several times in the past few years.
