Link below is to a post I made earlier on the Tractor Tales board. This is a guy I have known all my life.

Sorry to hear that Les. Two guys near here were killed a few years back by a bobcat loader. They were working on it with the loader raised. Must have loosened a hose. The loader fell on both and killed. Both in their 20's. Wife went to school with one of 'em.

Local mayor was killed last week. Pulling bushes/stumps and tractor flipped on him.

Les, sorry to hear about your friend, read the story and get the feeling he had been around machinery for a while, not new to it. Been around machinery all my life, heavy iron most of my life, and luckely never saw any one killed. You can't take anything for granted IRON dosen't forgive.
Later Bob

Yeah Les, I didn't want Tyler to even get a tractor for a while because I was scared that it would turn over on him or something. When I was little I remember a little boy was with his dad near a tractor when it turned over and killed the boy. That dad grieved like crazy over the grave of that little boy. We use to pass by the cemetery and see the dad kneeling. That stuck in my mind a long time and so it took a while before I would even consent to Tyler having a tractor.

Real sorry to hear that Les,I'll be with You .
How many of You have ever had a Hydrolic hose bust or been there when one did? What happened here could be from many things but I often think of hoses, mostly just after or even while I'm standing under a round bale cleanin tha bottom off befor puttin it in tha feeder.
Yep, I have been there when a hose just ruptured like a blowout on a tire and whatever it was holdin up comes down FAST. Silly little things We don't think about that can get Us bad hurt or killed.
