Do any of you guys have a good idea for snacks to serve/take to a Super Bowl Party. I'm tired of the same old chips and salsa sort of stuff. Don't want anything that is too difficult to prepare. Just looking for something new & different. Thanks!

Maybe not a snack, but I am brining my Lynchburg Lemonade Jell-o shots! They are to die for.

cheap, unique, easy & satisfying ay? ya like corndogs? okay only fill them with steamed corn on the cob. I'D TRY A BUTTER/MILD CHEESE DIP.

CAUTION: DUE TO I'M JUST THE TINKERER - NOT THE ENGINEER, THIS RECIPE HAS NEVER BEEN TESTED.:)

Because our crowd for parties is often varied, we love to make "Piglets in blankets." We cut down the triangles of crescent dough into smaller triangles and wrap little smokies instead of full size hotdogs. They are a great finger food and we can set out lots of different dipping sauces.

we are having "lasagna" made with carb. friendly pasta; not really a snack but what the heck.
or try ring bologna, cheese, pickles , ritz crackers. (dutch platter) don't forget the horseradish.

This is one of our favorite appetizers:

SPICY CHICKEN DRUMMETTES

* 1/2 stick of margarine
* 1/2 cup Texas Pete Hot Sauce (or other
comparable hot sauce)
* 1 package powdered ranch dressing mix
* 2 lbs chicken drummettes
* 1 cup blue cheese dressing ( I prefere
Ranch)
* celery stalks to accompany

Melt margarine in saucepan. Add 1/2 cup Texas Pete Hot Sauce.

Rinse and dry drummettes. Dip chicken in hot sauce mixture. Roll them in powdered Ranch dressing mix.

Spread onto baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve with celery and blue cheese and/or ranch dressing. They are good!

Enjoy!

Little smokies in barbecue sauce (cooked / warming in a crock pot)

Sausage balls (there are some real easy recipes for these)
