Welcome Mary!

You don't have to live on a farm to post here - I don't and 'till now nobody complained about it LOL

Welcome Mary! Nice to have you! You just have to have a mindset here, not a farm. :) We are all family here, and its so good to have you. tell us all about yourself. I am Married for almost 16 years now, we are trying to get 31 acres out in the country now, and I have a wonderful daughter, she is 10. I am a chicken nut, I love chickens, I have ten and they all have names, and yes, I can tell them apart, lol. I also have a border collie, two old cats, a cockatiel, a finch, a Flemish Giant rabbit, an iguana, she is rocking on 14 now, and two fish. I am just a wannabe, but I am getting there. :) This is the best place on the internet. Welcome!

hi mary & welcome - you just chat about anything you like - most peple use a nickname online cuz it's kinda easy to look a real name up - or at least avoid last names - and nicknames hardly ever fit - like if somebody calls themselves "19yosweetie4u" he's probably overweight, black & older than dirt. for example as mary, yu'd be expected to cook & garden so fake it okay? don't let me down!

myself however,i'm a grandpa & pretty much resemble a deadcarp in texture and tenacity. maybe that's a bit harsh - rancidity is a better word. heh heh, suzn & i are on a lake too, in central mn - or at least that's my story & i'm stickin to it! here's a snapshot of the really dashing, unbelievably handsome, rugged, well-attired first class brute i choose to portray - for pity sake please even if you see thru me don't tell them who i really am. :)

Hi DC, As the old surveyor said to the guy standing in from of his instrument, er ah, scope, "You've been drinking muddy water, I can't see through you".

Hello Mary, when I fist came here I weren't no where near as polite as you. I just started posting 'cause I'm the original "Bull of the Woods". Now, there may be a few others that lay claim to that distinction but don't you believe them. For, they are just Alias wanttabees. Some of them go so far as to call themselves "Alias, Alias. But, they are just a cheap imitation of the real deal.

Now, what my buddy Deadcarp said about changing your name to protect life, limb, kinfolk and property is a good Idea. And, I side with Les on standing ready to fight anyone who says you can't. So, Feel free to post or respond as your little ole heart desires. And, I'm sure no one will object. Because, they let me in without objection...so far.........gfp

In the words of the immortal Mork:
"You can't see through me. I'm opaque."

Am I dumb or what? Didn't figure on all of my name would come up on board. This a nice place, no ropes to jump to get in.
Dumb joke. Why did the dog cross the road. It was the chickens day off.
