And you can tell i'm new, i have no idea how to do this, just sorta jump in. I found this place searching through google on how to get oil stain out (of my hubbys fireman turn out gear). Now i've earmarked it and pop in twice a day, in the morning when i'm having coffee and very late at night when i'm waiting for kids to be picked up. (i now do night time childcare) In ref. to using a nic, mine is blueangel (street slang for a lady cop, i was an officer for 18 years) but threw out my REAL NAME (Hollie) anyhow. As you read the posts you do get a mental pic of people...Do i live on a farm? nope..grew up on one. To the lady who has chickens, yep i do too and yes like you i know them all by name...amusing for my farm raised husband...he keeps waiting for one to land on the table...YIKES! not my ladies, thats what the grocery store is for...no pets here..just the husband. (hehe) talk to ya all later...from Northeast Missouri.......i remain, Hollie PS. carpman i'll post my pic on the photos page...take a look, good for keeping mice at bay during the winter......Hugzzzzzzzz!

Another from MO - Good.

We have our little farm right next to Mark Twain Lake. Actually about 1/2 mile from the dam. Smack dab in between Perry and Monroe City - other side of the lake from Riskstir. We are neighbors. I'm at the Farm and Home in Hannibal ALL THE TIME. Way too much actually. Oh well, better than Wally World next door.

Also just SO of St Louis. Drive by Darryl all the time in Winfield.

Hi Hollie,

Just looked at your pic in the photo gallery and have to tell you that you strongly resemble my (now 83 yo) Mom as I've seen her in pictures from about the time she & Dad were married. It's a really uncanny resemblance. BTW, I'm a Missourian too. Head south on Hwy 61 from Hannibal to Troy, go east about 12 miles to Winfield and you're somewhere in my back yard. Or just go south on Hwy 79 to the one stop sign on Winfield's Main street. I don't live in the town (wouldn't admit it if I did) but I can see the elementary school across the fields. Good to have another Missourian here.

Darryl

Hi there Hollie, Come on in and welcome. I just returned from the photo gallery and if that's the real you, don't think you'd be much good at keeping the mice at bay. Some of us old coodgers like Fern and myself daydream about sweet good looking women like you.
Did I tell you yet about my lady therapist?
Aw, welllll.....maybe later.....gfp

Gerrit    Posted 02-03-2005 at 10:10:18       [Reply]  [No Email]
The short version of the story is that Patria went to the Netherlands alone and came back with me..We then flew to Las Vegas to get married and live happily ever after in Puerto Rico...

Hollie    Posted 02-03-2005 at 10:13:18       [Reply]  [Send Email]

Patria    Posted 02-03-2005 at 10:49:44       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm afraid so, officer blueangel. :-)

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

But hey, it's you we all want to know about.

Hannibal you say?

It rings a bell...

I'll check it out in the map.

You'd have to ask her, but I'm pretty sure you'll get the same answer, yes..

Come on in Hollie! We don't stand for much formality, so just through your 2 cents in whenever the mood strikes.
"Country" is as much an outlook on life as it is a geographical location.
