I have spent the last hour reading messages, what a hoot. this page has changed my life style. Again I thank all the kind people who answered my first input, I hope I live long enough to remember all the names, already I love you all and will answer any e-mail sent to me. E-mail is another plus for this machine. What the hell did I do with my spare time before the computer??Another plus of the computer(speaking of spare time)I found free knitting patterns on the internet. I started a sweater then couldn't remember how to decrease for the neck, could I find my knitting books? Guess they went the way a lot of stuff did when I downsized. Anyway, good computer to the rescue. This thing still amazes me, I will talk to my friends who have had one a long time and say"did you know, etc. etc."They look at me like I had no brains what so ever.No debate there. (Also found free piano lessons.)Got any pi-an-o people out there?
I put in my day at the food bank sense I last talked to you. I have been involed with our local one for ten years. Ours is independent, founded buy a local lady. We operate on donated monies, and the procedes from a thrift store.(I love thrift stores, my car can spot one a mile away and will go right to it)) Our small town is very good about helping with food drives and money. Oh my, I should not get started on that tack. That is an another chapter in my life and I am apt to bore people with it.
Found a recipe for Beer bread here. Anything that calls for only three ingredients(had to look that word up)is for me.I printed it out and it calls for 2100 oz.of beer. Three cup of flower , 1/2 c.sugar and 2100 oz. of beer. That is 100 cans of beer. Needless to say I didn't use 100 cans of beer. I used one can of Coors light, it is good, but a little sweet.Again, needles to say, it isn't like the bread I used to make "the old fashioned way", but not bad when warmed up in the toaster oven. Next time will try with some Irish dark, shouldn't be as sweet. On the other hand, why waste a good bottle of beer. Am not a big beer drinker, heard somewhere that if you wanted to gain weight a can of beer a day would help. After a (oh no, that is another story) operation on insides I lost a lot of weight I can't seem to get back.I heard somewhere that a beer a day would help. I bought a case of beer and drank about three cans. In my small house I have no place to store this so it is in my closet. I do use it to make pancakes for guests, get a very funny look when I have to go to the bedroom to get the beer.I drink Gin, that is not in the closet.(Also have a Gin story)Enough rambling for this time, night all

Good Morning Grandma, Welcome to our little
Mad House. You asked about piano "pickers" I
have been playing a long time, mostly at church
now with a "praise & worship team" but I have a
new website i'm working on with the help of Gerrit
that has few songs on it if you care to check it out.

Are you and Mary one and the same person?

grandmother    Posted 02-04-2005 at 03:17:55       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yes, grandma and Mary are the same person. When I first found this place I thought I had to make out a bunch of stuff like other chat pages. I put my name in and low and behold it appeared on the chat page.Knowing that having you full name out there is not a good idea I changed it, first to Mary, then to grandmother. I knew my friends would follow me, and new ones would know me as grandmother. Make sense? If not, as time goes by you will find out I don't slways follow the sane way
