Judy,not a newbie thing I know but was wonderign what ever happened with your pump "project" a few months ago..get it running? buy a new one?

Hello Gentlemen, and thanks for asking about the pump. What became of it?.... Nothing! It definitely appeared my problem was the pump itself, and I just haven't put out the dollars to replace it, since it isn't my main source of water - too many things squeaking louder! :-)

You know the old saying:
When it's not raining; why should I fix my roof - it's not leaking then.

When it is raining, I can't work on it because it's raining!

I hope all those of you who contributed to my troubleshooting efforts don't feel your time was wasted. You helped me find lots of things that WEREN'T the problem, that I wouldn't have known how to test for otherwise. At least I was able to narrow it down and know what I need to do when I can.
