Roads bad here

welp...its 11:38pm and hubby just got called out to a two semi accident and a car...possible deaths...helicopter enroute....gonna be a long night here...i best put the coffee on and head to the fire station as soon as the last little one is picked up...we have ice and snow...son made it home ok...drove slow in a gray saturn...told that child to get a bright red car...sleep tight everyone...

roads are in pretty good shape here in central mo Hollie the side roads are a little slick but once off the gravel your in good shape. Its just to dog gone COLDDDDD lol I WANT SPRING NOWWWW!

was a short night around here..had another call out just as he was crawling into bed...got a total of about 3 hrs sleep...hard to keep that big new fire truck on the road when its this bad too (see photo in photo gallery)...ended up with one air lifted, two to hospital and one death...bad night out...rain to ice to snow came down fast and everyone was trying to get home when it started...lots of factorys in this area letting out 2nd shift...drive careful if ya get into ne mo.

Oh my Hollie,

That is a sad scene, hope there weren't any deaths, we are so foggy this morning here, and this is a contributing factor of many interstate accidents...anymore I dread hearing the sounds of the sirens going off. Hoping for the best.

maybe grey's better at nite. few years ago we drove home from fargo in a blizzard - it was 90 miles and you'll always get speeders rollin up behind but i didn't fret - we had a tan honda with huge tail lights. so it was dark, we took our time, stayed between ditches & finally pulled under the yardlite maybe midnite. i went to get groceries and here was maybe 8" of snow stuck on the hatchback. you'd have needed a shovel to see tail lites!
