( PRTC = Puerto Rican Telephone Company ) .. got it fixed..
We've been online at a normal speed for like 20 minutes and things seem to work pretty good *cross fingers*
Gotta lot of reading to do!

with all due respect, i'm imagining a whole buncha vaqueros pedaling exercise bikes by a beach somewhere. a zillion jumper cables to 1 beeg one. "can ju hear me now?" lol

ROFLMAO! yeah, something like that...

Now, normally it ain't too bad.. We only have a dial-up connection because we live in the middle of nowhere, but we connect at 50.6 Kbps and that's pretty good for a dial-up..

Somehow they got it fixed again and the connection is stable..

I wish I could get a faster connection though... Cable is out the question, satellite is something that Peanut and others told me to stay away from, so my only hope is DSL... Who knows, PRTC claims that almost the whole island can get DSL, which means that in the next two, three years they might make it available over here as well...
