Ugh...i dont' feel so good

oh boy...i went to bed fine, got sick during the night and its 8:01am and im still sick...got to find my compazine the ol cancer doc gave me...maybe i can at least keep down this cup of coffee...hope this ain't a inkaling of things to come...when your in remission, your always waiting (with a huge fake smile) for the other shoe to fall...i'll catch up on posts later...got to go lay down...have a good day new people on my screen...i realy like this place.....h

Hi Hollie, I second Mrs. P's comments - we're glad to have you here and hope you're feeling much better very soon.

I have found something that works fantastic for nausea - the best of anything I've ever tried (and I've had plenty of nausea with 11 pregnancies) :-)

It works whether the nausea is from motion sickness, upset stomach, whatever. They are a combination of peppermint and ginger. If you want to try them and have trouble locating some, email me and I can direct you.

did ya say 11 kids??? now I have a belly ache lol....mom had 12 grandmom had 19...I cant see how ya'll woman with huge family stay sane...my 2 indoor dogs drive me crazy! and son visiting on sundays fer dinner makes a big enough mess fer me.....god bless ya'll...all i can says is better you then me lmao.....dale anne

Howdy Miss Holly, Sure hate to hear ya not feelin good this fine morning...a bug going around ya know, I don caught it twice now,poision ivy 2X..and even chiggers already...sure it just a sinus thing,or slight bug...eat ya some mexican food or something with lots of hot sauce will knock any thing out of ya......I hope ya get to feeling better today so ya can post a story or poem..ya see i dont get on often on weekends abd would like to read one of yer fine post before I sign off fer the weekend...dont worry no pressure...k will check back in 5 minutes lol...yer friend dale anne

I do enjoy your posts, your opinions on different subjects, and love your upbeat attitude. You're a neat lady. Your feisty spirit, positive attitude, and family support will have a huge impact on your recovery.

Try ice chips. This will sometimes help with nausea. Let them melt slowly in your mouth. Hope you get to feeling better.

Oh dear Hollie,

It appears that you have the stomach virus going around, whatever do try to keep drinking liquids to stay hydrated, there is a pill that is called Nausene found at your local Rite Aid, it does help with the queasies...and saltine crackers helps too. Get well soon...
