Maggie already got her present and she says it's the best valentine present she has ever had.
I rigged up an automatic door closer for the chicken house. Since I have air pressure in the shed all the time, I used air to power the devise. I installed a 'dusk to dawn' electeic switch to control a 120v solonoid air valve and a cylinder on the chicken house door to open the door at first light and close it at dusk. The chickens are all on the roost before the door closes. No more forgetting or going out in all sorts of weather to close the door. Now I need to figure an automatic feeder system and an egg picker upper.
