I understood and appreciate in the context it was meant...You are very thoughtful.

Peanut and I tend to have a difficult time not voicing our opinions on certain issues.

Thank you...

Well tacon 1 Lets just go back down there and look at some other peplies to that post of yours. I see Susie Q acknowledged it as a good post and thanked you. Deadcarp saw fit to reply with his thoughts and had nothing bad to say toward you. Mike T gave a lesson on IP address wich personally I could take or leave, since I have read pretty much the same thing before. He has nothing hurtful to say or is not flaming anybody that I can tell. I see peanut acknowledged it as a good post and has informed us of his intention to drop the subject which I see as a good thing. I also see a post by doc that has a very good lesson in it. It seems that Mike T also found something that was posted as a result of your post that he found worthwhile to go to the trouble of saving. I happen to think that your post has some good advice and was worth reading. I hope you do not think I am flaming you but I have to ask. Why is it it seems you chose to go contrary to the advice to ignore trolls and such, and ignore all those positive replies to your post and pick out the one smart alec remark to make an issue with?

You gave a great summary of the other posts.

I can tell you this about me:

I take life one moment at a time. Nothing is taken for granted - period. That sometimes means that humor takes a front seat. I like to chuckle and laugh - I think its good for me and my family.

I don't intentionally find humor at the expense of others. I have taken advantage of it recently. You, others, and I have seen that I have chosen to stop the bantering. You are right on the money - time to let it go.

I believe tacon1 was joking with us and trying to inject reality. I don't believe any harm or malice was intended.

You make a good point "joking with us and trying to inject reality". I took it as tacon 1 being upset and was hoping to head of another quarrel. Heres hoping you are right and I am wrong.

Sid, Peanut is right. As you well know, sometimes it's hard to convey humor in the written post. I just thought it was funny that an article about Trolls and Flamers would bring a "flame". And, as you pointed out, I almost didn't respond for those very reasons.

tacon1, I sort of got the impression your response was *tongue in cheek*. Like oh my goodness! I got flamed on my "flame/troll" post; if that dont beat all. I agreed with you by the way on the original post and on this one.
LOL ;-)

Hey tac

Welcome to the club. LOL

I liked your post - As you saw, it made me think a bit more. And ... the source was trustworthy.

Now for your bad behavior - see above.
