One more time.
This such a sweet song.
All of you guys should sing it to your valentine.
...or get a copy of Willie singing it for her. :-)
It would just melt her heart!

Lenore, I just played the song for my wife. We saw Willy at Austin City Limits about a hundred years ago. that was years before it was on TV. Weed was hanging in the air. Everybody was happy and there was a lot of hooping and hollering going on. Monsterious place. When he hit the first lick on that geetar, my wife was hooked on that sound. She never heard that song before. sounds like an old tune. Is it?

Did your wife love it?
I think it is one of the sweetest love songs.
Of course I like almost all of willie's music;
he has the most unique guitar sound.
It is not a new one.
Clod tells me it was written and recorded by Merle Haggard first.
I will have to find it by Merle and maybe play it.
I am glad you enjoyed it.
