I am from Pa.
I am more of a city person, than a country person. Love to go to the city, like New York.
Love Oldies Music, and love to dance.
Also I love to travel.
Hello to all.

now mind -there's nuthin wrong with city folks, we lived in l a 30 years. (& other places like detroit & erie) we gassed up early & rolled on thru chicago & other cities. honestly from what i've seen on tv, no thanx. i was going mad. so i do have a question: how on earth can anybody live there? concrete, brick & tar far as the eye can see. man-made noise day & nite. where's the birds tweeting? where's the stars at nite? what kinda life is that? i watch critters grazing & toiling all day. we see real life not street life. i dunno. :)

Girlfriend one of the last times I was at the VFW...about 15 year ago...There was moonshine being passed around...Now I never been one to back down from anything..Wow it went down smooth as silk...Next thing I know I am on stage a singing ...jumped of the little stage and hit the floor adoing the cotton-eyed Joe..I closed the place down...When I got like that MAtt would just back off and let me go..lol..
Needless to say the next day I thought I would die and thought I was having a stroke or a heart attack...Asked MAtt to carry me to ER...He replied.."what are you going to tell the KAthy??? That you tried to drink everything in Booneville last night" HAd second thoughts and took some med and laid down for a day or so...15 years ago and I still remember that hangover...Wonder if I can still dance??? Haven't tried in awhile...I can sway though...play music at the barn for the cows and really sway good when a lively tune comes on...Got to go gather the eggs and get the milking stuff together...May try dancing this afternoon...KatG

cracking up here...too funny...yes we have a little bar just up the street here...and as much as we try to maintain a somewhat somber appearence to the neighbors...we did last summer must of had one heck of a brain f@r!....becasue we walked up there and had a few...and a few more....then someone bought one..and we bought some...and and and...needless to say by the nights end i was on the small makeshift stage singing care-e-o-key...lordee vern said i thought i was patsey cline...for days later when ever id go somewhere people would stop me and say, "gee, hollie, we didn't know you could sing"....and id have to grin and say,,,,,ya still don't...cause i'll never do that again....spent the next day on the lake, floating around in the sun, gagging and head hurt and drinking half the lake water....never again!!!!!! LOL

We have six acres up there. We are just interested in more. Too bad about Ray and his bar. That really is the only good one. I guess that means I may have to go the other way into Monroe City to the Dugout. Hopefully not. I guess I could always try to buy Ray's if it goes up for sale. I always wanted a bar.
