When I was talking to Hollie this afternoon it got me thinking...I bet it has been 8 years since I danced a step..Like I say I sway to the tunes we play at the barn, but I don't think swaying counts as dancing...Have ya'll tried dancing lately???...I don't think this body would cooperate..lol..KAtG

That's so funny that you posted about dancing! LOL

Our community center, an old oneroom schoolhouse, is trying to renovate and renew interest in the community. One of the ideas was to have a dance to help raise some $$. I sure hope they do! Sounds like fun to me!

Dear Hubby and I used to go each Saturday evening to a dance hall. $5.00 per couple. Those were great times. Maybe we'll have the opportunity to make some new ones.

When we were youug we danced every saturday night.I now dance with a mop or broom. On our one and only cruse on the first night out when the dancing started we jumped up. What a handsome couple we made, he in his tux, me in my long swishey skirt. It soon dawned on us that no one else was dancing. They thought we were the floor show. I will admit we were darn good, but that good?? Had sveral people tell us the next day they enjoyed us.

I missed that, D!

I went on a Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago. One of the nights there would be a dancing contest, and one of my friends and me thought we could have some fun...and we won first price too. Had a great time for sure.
