Five years ago this month I was undergoing cancer treatment. Radiation, chemo and surgery . Since then been doing cat scans, x-rays and blood tests every six months. Did that routine last thursday and went to the oncologist yesterday for the rusults. All tests had little smiley faces stamped on them and he kicked me to the curb and said don't come back. Suggested I have an x-ray and blood test once a year from now on. I can live with that, literly.

What wonderful news. Mom just made 5 years after a double mastectomy so I guess I understand. Keep up with a positive attitude and faith and you'll be great.

aw heck with it -- there's an old german saying and it sez in effect that worry reflects a lack of faith - in god or who or what you worry about.

reminds me at new years when the preacher noticed one farmer's furrowed brow - he asked what was wrong and the farmer said well i'm not sure. preacher said well alright, think about all of last year's worries - half of them never came to pass, did they? farmer replied. "nope - and that's what worries me."

lol - stand around the post office awhile & you'll conclude we have a whole community of worriers. any dam thing sets them off. oh well, they keep the churches open. that's a side benefit of small town life - unlimited free entertainment! :)
