This is the New Contract for the year. Take a look at the fine print on these to work for the 2005 Fire Season as a Contractor. Mark H.

jeez i chuckled when i read the subject line & it made me think of an old contractor buddy dombrowski. one evening he called me up and asked if i wanted to work tomorrow - he'd pick me up. so here we are driving along sipping coffee and he started describing the job: some ritzy place had gotten a roll of congoleum to install. finally i mentioned i was glad he'd layed linoleum before.

he didn't answer right away so i turned and he was looking concerned at me. "are we in trouble?" i said "oh no!" and man we laughed! decided to look at it first, pulled a few floor tiles and by day's end the stuff was down & accepted. with coped corners no less! all the way home we told each other "don't you EVER do that to me again!" we stopped for a 6 pack - oh we were relieved! :)

Ya! They take there time sending it out then expect you to read and do all the nessasary things in a few weeks time. Inspections are in Mid March for the truck. Tomorrow is my Pack Test and refresser courses in mid march should have it all done in time. All ready insured and licenced for the new year! Mark H.

I did some reading on the Canada CDL Rules and they are bad for the drivers way more time behind the wheel is allowed compaired to the USA CDL Rules. Seems like it would cause more wrecks up there! Mark H.

yup we are having alot more problems lately , alot of reasons as far as im concerned but if you listen to the old timers, it is fatigue, speed , new driver/poor training and increased traffic on the highways, and they are probably right , they are the ones seeing it all the time.
