Me and a couple of friends went to a swap meet at Cape Girardeau this morning. There was probably 150 guys selling their cleaned out garage things. Must of been 2000 people looking for a good deal. I haven't seen so much junk since I cleaned out my shop last year to move into the new place.

I was able to get a diecast MuscleMachine 33 Ford coupe. 1:18 scale, new in the box for $15. The wife was really proud of me for that. (grin)

There was about 30 guys from the home town there buying and selling. So there was a lot of socializing. Good time.

I went to one also. Pretty big swap meet, but I didn't find the Model A quarter window trim I was looking for. Ended up with a die-cast '31 Ford pickemup and a chrome dipstick and valve covers for a 302 Ford. Figger that oughta be good for about 10 HP...

Fred, there were 3 Model A's for sale there that needed a lot of work, plus quite a few parts for them. I saw some window trim, but I don't have any idea if it is what you are looking for.
On guy had some Model T lights(kerosine lamps?) That was neat. And I saw a model A luggage rack. The accordian type that mounts to a running board. It was priced $35.

I probably have a couple more years at least before I really need it. I've seen one on E-bay, but I gotta be real desparate before I actually try to buy anything on E-bay.

I used to load up my truck get half way down the road to the dump , stop at my neighbours , he would start looking through my junk, i would be looking through his pile, id get rid of mine, him his and id come home with a whole new pile in the pickup. This went on for a few years until our wives had a yard sale sold alot of our stuff made 700 bucks
