I stopped by the natural foods store today, & picked up some yogurt - Water Buffalo yogurt. It was delicious! Super creamy, very rich. At $1.45/ 6 OZ cup I won't be buying it regularly, but it is interesting! From a farm in Vermont. Aparently the fat content of water buffalo milk is almost double that of cows milk, and the protien is significantly higher - but there is less cholesterol. Not sure how that figures. That calcium content is higher, as well.

I wonder why I got the ick factor when thinking of water buffalo milk, but cows milk never fazes me...
