We look like that all the time at properties, but, you still have to go look at it. Pictures can be decieving.

Are you staying out of trouble? Silly goose, using dish detergent on the floor, lol.

I found my place in a little land ad in the paper. It said 40 acs with privet lake, mountain views, Big Trees, borders county road with great well and near by electricity & phone! Price $39,500.00 call xxxxxxx Well I said noway for that price but I will look at it. Drove 250 miles in the dead of winter and said I love it and put a down payment on it to hold it that day. It was so easy the first place I looked at. Mark H.

Yep, Ei and I got our place through the Internet and are quite happy with it.

Picked an area we wanted to live in, looked up all the local real estate offices and contacted them, gave them our requirements and bingo. we are here.
Most real estate offices have property descriptions and pictures on the net, but we also contacted them with our wishes. We used only one Realtor for this area and she would be our "buyers agent" answering only to us as required by law.

They would line up 5 or more properties and we would drive the eight or nine hours to get here and spend the weekend visiting each and every property.

Of course when we did decide on this place we had pre-approved our mortgage, and had a local inspector check it out for us.

Everyone else probably knows this answer, but where are you looking to buy, toolman? I recommend TN, good prices, great people, and a quiet way of living!
