Well, we went out to Cedartown again today. Looked at 5 homes. Went to lunch at a nice Italian American restaurant. Talked all the houses over, and made a decision on one. Called the real estate agent back, told her we wanted to put in an offer. This house has been showing a lot lately, so we didn't want o diddle around about it. We are giving them what they are asking for it, because we feel it is worth every penny.

I am not going to list the listing page, I don't want to jinx us. But, when the deal is done, I will show you all. :) Closing is March 31 or sooner.

You are smart to buy real estate. Especially with low interest rates.

Around these parts prices have more than doubled in many areas in the last 5 years.

we've had local loggers move their operation to ga - claimed it was just like here but warmer. i peeked at a few online homes in cedartown & it does look homey - i like the 1 on luckie street. 4 bdrms, big carprt, basement, 3.5 acres, $94,900? i'd think about that one. :)

i should be looking in GA, with prices like that and the type of homes , looks like some good deals, that first one 98,000 would cost you and extra hundred here or more here.
